The impact of COVID 19 Pandemic on Rural livelihood and how to service post pandemic rural Nigeria
The COVID 19 Pandemic hit Nigeria through an index case from Italy that arrived Nigeria in March 2020 and in a matter of two months the infection spread like wide fire across the Nation. The country introduced selective lock down in most affected state and inter-state movement were restructured. The Nation has been so interwoven that most business were operated across state boundaries. Meanwhile the nation had I n August 2019 closed the Nations border. This interstate and international border closures have untold effects on the rural economy that mainly depend on patronage across the boundaries for their state. It was difficult for most business in the rural areas to be on their feet at that time coupled with the low knowledge and in some cases wrong information about the virus. CHUSSDEV decided to approach the partners to seek for some funds to conduct the following activities in most rural areas of Oyo state, Osun and Ogun states
Objective
The Objective of the project is to identify the vulnerable group in the rural areas in Oke Ogun part of Oyos state. The rural women were particularly targeted for consideration.

The nose mask were produced from local fabrics and local youth were engaged to distribute the nose mask to the people in Saki, Basi, Tede Alaga and Otu all in Oke Ogun Zone of Oyo state Nigeria.
